We are The Plural Association, the first nonprofit dedicated to people living with Dissociative Identity Disorder, Other Specified Dissociative Disorder and all other forms of Multiplicity under the Plural umbrella, no matter the label used to describe their individual and unique experience with ‘Manyness.’

We are peer and volunteer led. All our peer support Plurals are volunteers, including our founders. Everymany on our team is Plural in one or more ways. Many of us are disabled. More are survivors. We have volunteers from various minority groups and backgrounds. We all work from home to keep costs low and volunteering accessible.

What is Plurality:

Plural is an umbrella term for all people who have an experience of Multiplicity, being more than 1 individual within a single body, no matter the label used to describe their unique and individual experience. Including but never limited to Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD) and other disordered forms of Plurality. Learn more by reading our Plurality FAQ.

Projects we run:

Power to the Plurals:

In 2017 we started Power to the Plurals, a blog where our educational articles reached over 50k people and a youtube channel which has over 222K views.

We also started an online support group where we support 3000 people on a regular basis.

Stronghold System have directly answered at least over 5000 questions from Plurals but together we provide community with almost 100.000 interactions between Plurals each year!

The Plural Association Community:

A private virtual community for Plurals. With access to not only over 25 different Associations (mix of (support) groups and forums) but also all our videos, articles, training materials, courses, live streams, community group text chats, community virtual meetups and much more! Join by clicking here

Plural Events:

Inclusive empowering events for everymany. Including the annual The Plural Association World Conference. Visit the Plural Events site

The Plural Warmline:

Together with 50 volunteers, we are opening The Plural Warmline where Systems and their Headmates can share their stories and worries with trained peer support Plurals, for free, via email, live chat, sms, audio or video calls.
